Frequently asked questions
Is Skooldom a school ERP or a student information system?
Both. Skooldom covers the student information system core — student records, enrolment, attendance and results — and the wider school ERP functions around it, including fee management, payments, staff records, timetabling and reporting.
Can teachers enter marks themselves?
Yes. Teachers enter marks for their own subjects and classes. Those marks roll into report cards on the school's single configured grading ladder, and administrators can see the full audit trail of every change.
Does Skooldom send notifications to parents?
Yes. Skooldom sends push and email notifications for absences, payments, announcements and messages. Parents receive them for their own children only.
Can we import our existing student data?
Yes. Students can be imported in bulk by class, and each record carries admission details, guardian links and class placement for the academic year.
What happens at the end of an academic year?
Skooldom rolls the school into the next academic year: students are promoted class by class, enrolments are created for the new year, and the previous year's records stay intact and readable as history.
